Server Requirements

Important Notices

  • The server specifications presented here are to be used as general minimum requirements and may differ based on factors such as your financial institution’s size and volume of transactions.
  • Specifications are subject to change without notice.
  • Please consult IMM Support for your specific requirements.

System Types

  • Virtual via OVA download: VMware ESXi or Microsoft HyperV

System Resources

  • Servers are created as Virtual Servers at IMM and downloaded as a fully installed (yet to be configured)
  • Manual setup of these resources is not required.

General Hardware

  • Intel Quad Core Xeon

Disk Space

Drives need to be in some type of redundant storage (RAID array, SAN, etc.) to prevent downtime.

  • C (OS drive): At least 100GB of free space (after installing the OS and all Windows Updates).
  • E (Application drive): 200GB if you will manage (and increase as needed) drive space. The E drive is where the archive files and database are. This drive must be monitored for performance weekly by the financial institution’s IT administrator.

CPU

  • Small Institutions (1-100 Users): 8 Cores (or VCPUs for VMware) @ 3.0 GHz or faster
  • Medium and Large Institutions (101+ Users): 16 Cores (or VCPUs for VMware) @ 3.0 GHz or faster

Memory

  • Small Institutions (1-100 Users): 16GB RAM
  • Medium and Large Institutions (101+ Users): 32GB RAM

Supported OS

Other

  • Gigabit Network Interface
  • This server must be joined to same domain as the client workstations.
  • This server must have access to a fully functional domain (Active Directory).
  • MongoDB is required for on-premise installations. MongoDB is automatically installed and configured during eReceipts installation.
  • eReceipts uses Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) to authenticate users. To minimize administrative overhead, ADFS is automatically installed and configured during eReceipts installation.

  • Small Institutions (1-100 Users): 4 Cores (or VCPUs for VMware) @ 3.0 GHz or faster
  • Medium Institutions (101-500 Users): 8 Cores (or VCPUs for VMware) @ 3.0 GHz or faster
  • Large Institutions (500+ Users): 16 Cores (or VCPUs for VMware) @ 3.0 GHz or faster

Memory

  • Small Institutions (1-100 Users): 16GB RAM
  • Medium and Large Institutions (101+ Users): 32GB RAM
