Press Release: Self-mailer system simplifies daily processes and creates significant reductions in time
LAS VEGAS, N.J., Dec. 18, 2007— Document output and signature capture provider Integrated Media Management® (IMM) announced that Naperville, Ill.-based HealthCare Associates Credit Union has rolled out IMM's EZNotice software for all of its notice requirements. The credit union has been an IMM customer for several years and now uses EZNotice to communicate with more than 37,000 members.
"Prior to installing EZNotice, we were using six different kinds of paper stock to create multi-page mailers that included a reply envelope and an outer envelope," Brian Bultman, vice president and CIO at HealthCare Associates CU, said. "Those multiple pages are now one page, and we use one type of paper stock. And due to EZNotice's high level of integration with our other IMM products, we did not have to purchase additional hardware."
IMM is the creator of TotaleWorks, a suite of software products that enables financial institutions to cut costs and increase efficiency by operating in a paperless environment. EZNotice is IMM's batch laser-generated self-mailer system. The data and form templates are merged and only one type of paper stock is needed, reducing time and staffing obligations. The folder/sealer machine completes the job by creating up to 11,000 laser self-mailers per hour.
HealthCare Associates CU's Member Support Operations department saves at least one hour each day and the Collections department saves almost three hours per week with the elimination of perforating and stuffing the notices in addition to the savings from eliminating envelopes. The credit union has also benefited from EZNotice's ability to index and archive all of the images. This makes it easy for the employees to access a document for viewing or reprinting for a member.
HealthCare Associates CU uses EZNotice to send daily overdraft, electronic funds transfer and check card notices. The product is used for other notices regarding issues such as delinquency and loan billing. In addition to simplifying the process, the fact that EZNotice does not use preprinted forms also makes it easier to make changes.
"Mergers, name changes and logo updates are all a standard part of doing business in the industry, so being able to make a simple design change with EZNotice instead of throwing away all of your preprinted forms is a tremendous benefit, not to mention the cost savings involved," Bultman added. "Our members are also receiving a more professional product in a shorter amount of time, which goes back to the ultimate goal of all of our projects— providing quality service for the members."
