Press Release: Innovation adds check endorsement and ID scanning features
LINDEN, N.J., November 27, 2006— Integrated Media Management (IMM), which specializes in output management and document automation technology, has announced the availability of its QwikScan Plus product. QwikScan the drive thru solution, is an optional add-on to IMM's TotaleReceipts. TotaleReceipts automates the teller's output of transaction receipts and captures signatures electronically. It also provides teller logs, which make the "proving out" process easy, and has the capability to create offline receipts when necessary.
The QwikScan drive-thru solution captures signatures by scanning the transaction slip, using a small desktop scanner, and appends the image to the receipt transaction, keeping the TotaleReceipts process completely electronic. QwikScan speeds the transaction process and allows tellers to handle multiple lanes in a drive-thru environment because it is not bound by attached peripherals. It also allows for single and dual sided scanning, capturing both sides in one pass.
QwickScan Plus adds a check endorsement feature, which endorses checks on the back during the scanning process, as well as an ID scanning feature, which embeds the captured ID into the archived receipt. TotaleReceipts is part of IMM's TotaleWorks suite of products, which includes TotaleAtlas and TotaleChecks, all of which improve the transaction process by electronically streamlining what has historically been a paper-based process.
"We are constantly looking for innovative ways to improve and speed transactions in all areas of a financial institution," said Chuck Klein, chief executive officer for Integrated Media Management." At IMM we invest heavily in development and design upgrades aimed at keeping our customers competitive by increasing productivity through automation, saving them both time and money."
