Press Release: Agreement Streamlines Loan Application Signature Process for Thousands of CUs
MADISON, Wis., November 16, 2010— CUNA Mutual Group and Integrated Media Management(IMM)®, a document output management and automation technology provider, announced today the completed development of an interface that allows LOANLINER® documents to be signed electronically by credit union members.
The relationship enables users of loanliner.com®, CUNA Mutual's online loan application system, to benefit from IMM's remote signature capture and secure document delivery solution, TotaleAtlasWeb™. The integration creates a new level of convenience and member service for these credit unions, as members can now complete loan application documents from home or any location, and at any time.
IMM's technology provides comprehensive authentication of members prior to signing, ensuring a very secure signing event.
"When used along with CUNA Mutual's loanliner.com, this interface provides real-time delivery of compliant documents and an efficient and secure method of electronically signing the documents," said Dan Murray, CUNA Mutual vice president.
The interface will affect approximately 6,500 credit unions that utilize LOANLINER documents for member loan applications, including the more than 525 credit unions already using loanliner.com. More than 3 million loan applications have been filed through loanliner.com in the past five years.
