Philadelphia Federal Credit Union First to Implement with IMM's Web Gateway

Press Release: Technology allows credit union to capture more business, enhance member satisfaction
BOSTON, November 3, 2009— Integrated Media Management(IMM)®, a document output management and automation technology provider, announced at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference & Expo that Philadelphia Federal Credit Union (PFCU) has gone live with the company's Web Gateway and TotaleAtlasWeb products. Web Gateway is a channel to allow non-integrated, third party software applications including core host systems, to deliver documents to TotaleAtlasWeb for remote signature capture via the Web anytime, anywhere 24/7.
Claire Ippoliti, vice president of lending at Philadelphia FCU, said, "IMM's offering is not only technologically advanced, but also has added security to our everyday processes while improving efficiencies and lowering costs. These factors have significantly contributed to the satisfaction of our members as well as employees." Web Gateway combines virtual print technology for financial institutions that have a pre-existing merge engine.
PFCU implemented IMM's TotaleAtlasWeb earlier this year, recognizing the need to incorporate e-signature capabilities as the credit union faced concern with continuing its open-end lending program. TotaleAtlasWeb, as an add-on to Web Gateway, offers end-users the convenience of completing and signing documents anywhere, anytime 24/7, securely via the Web by capturing digital signatures remotely. In less than two months' time, PFCU has completed nearly 300 remote signing events.
"Providing our members with remote signature technology has enabled us to capture business that we otherwise would have lost," Ippoliti continued. "Several members have limited time to visit a branch because of inflexible work hours or travel schedules, and others simply are not located close to a facility."
Additionally, she noted that the technology has eliminated the threats involved with sending information on shared faxes, as well as the confusion that manual processes often create for a member in understanding where to sign documents and how many signatures are needed. "PFCU saves time and increases transaction volume with automated processes that enable employees to take a more proactive approach to member service," she said.
PFCU's assistant lending manager, Regina Carolan, added, "Members have even made comments to us that with IMM's online signature technology, they were impressed with its security and ease of use. And our loan processors appreciate that all required signatures are captured prior to automatic importing into our imaging system. The product really satisfies the needs of both our members and our staff."
"TotaleAtlasWeb and Web Gateway extend these features and benefits to non-integrated LOS, cores and other third-party systems already employed by banks and credit unions," Chuck Klein, CEO at IMM, said. "Web Gateway, implemented in conjunction with TotaleAtlasWeb, results in a quick ROI and widens the geographical reach for financial institutions looking to leverage remote technology and grow their business."
