Integrated Media Management Joins Symitar Vendor Program

08/18/2008

Press Release: Relationship Allows Integration of Symitar's Core Processing System and IMM Solutions

LINDEN, N.J., August 18, 2008— Integrated Media Management® (IMM), a document output management and automation technology provider, recently announced that it has joined the Symitar™ Vendor Integration Program (VIP). Participation in this program enables IMM's solutions to tightly integrate with Symitar's Episys® core processing system. This gives joint credit union customers the ability to use IMM's flagship product suite, TotaleWorks, which consists of TotaleAtlas (documents), TotaleReceipts and TotaleChecks as well as TotaleAtlasWeb an online remote digital signature capture solution and secure document delivery service, in an integrated environment.

The Vendor Integration Program is designed to ensure that Symitar customers can easily deploy third-party products. As a new program participant, IMM has integrated TotaleChecks, its server-based software that connects to the credit union's core processor to print online and batch official checks on blank security paper stock. IMM plans to complete the integration of its remaining products with Episys by the third quarter of this year and will demo their solutions at the Symitar Educational Conference in August.

"Symitar's Vendor Integration Program is an unprecedented effort to move beyond merely talking about open systems and connectivity to providing our customers with the access their vendors need to deploy products quickly and easily," said Kathy Hooker Burress, president of Symitar. "We are pleased to welcome IMM to the program and to offer our shared clients a more seamless and efficient operating environment."

Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union, based in Charleston, S.C., has been an IMM customer since 2000, and currently uses all of the TotaleWorks products, which consist of TotaleAtlas, TotaleReceipts, and TotaleChecks. They also employ TotaleAtlasWeb and EZNotice, a solution that prints batch notices on blank paper and utilizes a folder/sealer to create self-mailers. When Heritage Trust FCU completes its conversion to Episys, this credit union will continue to enjoy the benefits of IMM's products and will leverage its investment in those solutions due to the company's VIP membership.

"We have had so much success with IMM's solutions during the years that after we complete the conversion, our top priority will be to continue reducing operating costs and improving efficiency with the full integration of IMM's proven solutions with our new core system," said Robin Ward, vice president of information technology at Heritage Trust FCU. "We have 16,000 members using online banking and as more and more of our membership moves to conducting business via the Internet, we'll be able to address the demand with TotaleAtlasWeb, making IMM's partnership with Symitar something that will benefit the credit union far in to the future."

"Symitar is a highly respected provider of core system technology and as a result, many credit unions enjoy working with the company," explained Chuck Klein, CEO at IMM. "Our participation in Symitar's VIP ensures that our customers can benefit from both Symitar's technology and our innovative paperless solutions."
