Press Release: Document presentment and receipt products create efficiencies, reduces costs

LINDEN, N.J., June 17, 2006— Integrated Media Management (IMM), which specializes in output management and document automation technology, has announced that National Institute of Health Federal Credit Union (NIHFCU), located in Rockville Md., is now using IMM's TotaleAtlas document presentment solution and TotaleReceipts products through seamless integration with their Summit Information Systems Spectrum¨ core processing solution (Summit, a business unit of Fiserv, Inc., NASDAQ: FISV). NIHFCU, founded in 1940, has $372 million in assets and more than 42,000 members.

"We were using IMM's products with our previous host system for a couple of years before converting to Summit Information Systems. However, prior to implementing the IMM technology, we were using paper documents," said John Szeglin, IT manager for NIHFCU. "Everything was signed by the member, copied and filed. TotaleAtlas now allows us to pull the information we need out of Spectrum and have the member sign documents electronically so we can immediately archive all of the applications directly to our imaging system. It introduced savings in terms of the time it took to complete the forms and archive the information in a storage facility."

TotaleAtlas is a complete turnkey, browser-based document presentment solution. It eliminates the time consuming effort of either storing paper, manually retrieving or physically scanning and indexing. With TotaleAtlas, XML host data is merged with documents and presented to the user. All fields that were not populated from the host database are completed on screen allowing the entire document to be completed, including an embedded e-signature before printing. Documents can be laser printed or faxed to a member. The documents are then archived as 128-Bit encrypted, non-editable and indexed PDFs.

NIHFCU is also using TotaleReceipts, a receipt product with indexing and signature capturing capabilities. TotaleReceipts eliminates the need for pre-printed paper receipts as well as manual scanning, indexing, storing and retrieving by automating the output of teller transaction receipts. After posting a transaction, receipts can be printed on either blank thermal or laser paper. Signatures are accepted and embedded in the document and stored as a 128-Bit encrypted, non-editable indexed PDF.

"Previously, we had to print receipts that we didn't even want to keep," said Szeglin. "With the IMM technology we have the option to print or directly archive the receipts so that we are not wasting paper. You also save on toner costs because the receipts are printed on thermal paper. There is much less paper reordering."

"TotaleAtlas and TotaleReceipts, like all of our products, can help financial institutions create new efficiencies and streamline their document management and storage process," said Chuck Klein, CEO of Integrated Media Management. "We are a client-centered company that works in partnership with our customers and their host processors to achieve quality and costeffective results."
