Integrated Media Management's Technology Allows Star One Credit Union To Achieve Paperless Document Solution

03/21/2006

Press Release: TotaleAtlas streamlines document automation and management process.

With 69,000 members and $3 billion in assets, Star One Credit Union in Sunnyvale, Calif. was looking to achieve the efficiencies that a paperless document delivery and storage system for lending would bring them. After thorough due diligence, they decided to use TotaleAtlas, a paperless solution for document automation and output management from Integrated Media Management (IMM) in Linden, N.J.

TotaleAtlas is a part of IMM's TotaleWorks comprehensive suite of products, which improves the transaction process by electronically streamlining what has historically been a paper-based system. Financial institutions are able to leverage existing technology and reduce operation costs through improved workflow, document presentment, embedded electronic signature capture and secure document delivery. TotaleWorks also includes TotaleReceipts and TotaleChecks.

"TotaleAtlas is very efficient. We're able to make additions, deletions and changes to a document before we print it out," said Carol Safberg, EVP of Operations and COO for Star One. "We're also able to package documents, which further improves efficiencies. TotaleAtlas saves both time and paper."

TotaleAtlas is a complete turnkey, browser-based document presentment solution. It eliminates the time consuming effort of either storing paper and manually retrieving or physically scanning and indexing. With TotaleAtlas, XML host data is merged with documents and presented to the user. All fields that were not populated from the host database are completed on screen allowing the entire document to be completed, including an affixed e-signature before printing. Documents can be laser printed, faxed or emailed to a customer. The documents are then archived as non-editable and indexed PDFs.

Achieving efficiencies is a critical goal for Star One as it grows its branch network. "Getting TotaleAtlas in place for branching was crucial for us," said Sandra Moix, consumer loans manager for Star One. " It allows us to achieve cost savings and more effectively serve our members at our branches. The people at IMM were very responsive and worked on a timely basis. It was a real plus."

"We are pleased that our technology can help Star One Credit Union as they continue to grow their business, their branches, and their relationships with their members," said Chuck Klein, CEO of Integrated Media Management. "It is our goal to help financial institutions stay competitive by providing resources, sharing knowledge, building capacity and forging partnerships."
