Press Release: Credit union to roll document preparation solution out to branches across the country
LINDEN, N.J., Jan. 15, 2008— Integrated Media Management® (IMM) recently announced that Fort Worth, Texas-based American Airlines Federal Credit Union has selected its document preparation and electronic signature capture solution, TotaleAtlas, to better serve its 210,000 members. After an extensive search, the credit union selected IMM based on the ability of its technology and that it is seamlessly integrated with their core processor.
"We wanted a solution that would give us the efficiencies that come with making the document management process paperless from the core processor to the imaging system," Gail Garlington, employee systems manager at American Airlines Federal Credit Union, explained. "There are a number of other credit unions using our core processor who have successfully implemented TotaleAtlas, so we felt very confident in selecting IMM."
TotaleAtlas is part of IMM's TotaleWorks suite of software products for document output and signature capture. The suite also includes TotaleChecks and TotaleReceipts. TotaleAtlas provides users with a document preparation engine that merges XML data and PDF documents. The process is initiated by the core processor and all fields that are not populated from the core database can be filled in on screen prior to electronically signing and printing of the document.
After installation, American Airlines Federal Credit Union will eliminate the time consuming cost of manually scanning documents and the errors associated with the manual indexing of them. Utilizing TotaleAtlas' DocQ function its members or cosigners will be able to visit any of the credit union's 43 branches to sign documents created at a different branch. This is especially important for the credit union because its membership is comprised of the employees of American Airlines and its affiliates, retirees, family members and air transportation industry employees.
"Any time that you can deliver the products and services that members want in the way that works best for them, it will help your competitive positioning," Garlington added. "If it's more convenient for one of our members to conduct their business with electronic documents, we'll now be able to offer that to them with TotaleAtlas."
"American Airlines Federal Credit Union is a very progressive credit union and in addition to having an extremely mobile member base, it also has branches located in 16 states and Puerto Rico," Chuck Klein, CEO at IMM, said. "TotaleAtlas will allow its members to receive a higher level of service while simultaneously reducing operating costs for the credit union. We look forward to American Airlines Federal Credit Union enjoying the many benefits that a paperless solution provides."
